About Meghan
Meghan is a licensed financial advisor and has been practicing since 2017. Before entering the financial services sector, Meghan gained extensive experience in the public sector, where she helped small businesses think big through her work in international economic development. From there she had a successful communications career in both the public and private sectors. In May 2017, she embraced a new world and became a Financial Security Advisor with Freedom 55 Financial where in just her first 8 months, she was recognized as one of the top 5 new advisors in her financial center. Since that time, she has a growing financial planning practice and is licensed to practice in Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Mary’s University, is an alumnus of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference and is working towards completing her Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation.
As a dedicated community leader, Meghan contributes her time to many causes. She proudly served on the Board of Directors with BGC St. John’s from 2008-2023 and is the current Club President of the Rotary Club of St. John’s Northwest. Meghan is married and she and her husband spend their time between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland with their families.
