About Meghan
About Meghan
Meghan is a Certified Financial Planner® who helps individuals, families, and business owners make clear, confident decisions about their money — especially during periods of change.
Her path into financial planning was shaped both professionally and personally. After building a career in international economic development and strategic communications across the public and private sectors, Meghan transitioned into financial services in 2017, following in her late father’s footsteps. She began her career as a Financial Security Advisor with Freedom 55 Financial and was recognized as one of the top five new advisors in her financial centre within her first eight months in practice.
Today, Meghan runs a growing financial planning practice grounded in thoughtful advice, long-term thinking, and collaboration. She is licensed to work with clients in Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia, and is known for helping clients navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and context — not jargon or one-size-fits-all solutions.
Meghan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Mary’s University. She is an alumna of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference and holds the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation.
A committed community leader, Meghan has spent more than a decade in volunteer leadership roles. She served on the Board of Directors of BGC St. John’s from 2008 to 2023 and is currently the Club President of the Rotary Club of St. John’s Northwest.
Meghan is married, and she and her husband divide their time between Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, staying closely connected to family, community, and the places they call home.
